My Favorite TV Series
I like how TV series can really develop characters further than a two hour film. With streaming services such as Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu and Disney — you can watch whole seasons at a time.
| Stranger Things. 80s nostalgia. Kids on bicycles trying to solve legendary mysteries in their neighborhood. Role playing games like D&D come to life. | Archer – My favorite animated series. Adult humor. Secret agent Sterling Archer is the world’s most dangerous spy, but political intrigue and global crises are nothing compared to the sexual tension and human resources crises at the intelligence agency where he works. Archer – on Amazon |
| Dead Like Me – Smart and funny, good characters and original concept. Another great show that got cancelled prematurely. Dead Like Me – on` Amazon |
| Breaking Bad – I really liked the first season. Great characters, natural dialog, and original plot. I haven’t watched anything past the second season, but think I might start back at the beginning since it is easily streamed from Netflix. Breaking Bad – On Amazon |
| Deadwood – Excellent historical drama. The life and times of a group of men and women who set up camp in Deadwood, South Dakota during the gold rush of 1876. I love the dialog. Deadwood on Amazon |

My Favorite Movies
Most movies can’t hold my attention. The following is a list of exceptions, what I consider to be exceptional films:
 Mongol – This movie has everything: a love story, epic battles, amazing scenery…plus a beautifully filmed look at early Mongolian culture and history. I watched this with my kids, and they loved it just as much as I did. The soundtrack is great, too. Mongol – on Amazon | Mongol Trailer |
