Romance Scams have a long history, even before the internet.
Scammers prey upon strong emotions like fear and love.
Just remember, never EVER send money to a potential romantic interest without meeting them in person. If it means taking a week off of work, paying for a plane ticket and hotel, THEN DO IT! Otherwise you will most assuredly end up like the woman in this video.
